Log Home Pricing

Each Log Home Package includes the following as standard practice:

• Construction of a hand-crafted log home shell as per log home plans.
  Hand peeled, full-length log walls.
• Douglas Fir log species. 14-15" average mid span diameter handcrafted logs (average butt 17-18", average top 12" )
• All log wall ends trimmed, sanded.
• Loft support beams if required, flattened and ready for second floor decking.
• Roof system as per plans - consisting of log ridge(s), log roof purlins (pitch cut to accept decking), all of which will be handcrafted from top quality Douglas Fir.
• One handcrafted log staircase with handrail. Half log treads and stringers. Installation to be done by general contractor, near completion of the home.
  Interior log railings, partially fabricated. Installation and final fabrication to be done by general contractor.
• All window and door openings cut out, key-wayed, and flared for trim. 
  Slots cut in log walls for any partition frame walls and second floor decking.  
• Hardware supplied including threaded rod in corners and screw jacks for vertical log columns if required.
• All logs insulated with fibreglass insulation.
• Log shell sprayed with 2-3 coats of mildew retardant spray prior to loading onto trucks and delivery to your site.
• Course of Construction insurance while on our site.

Not Included in the log package:

• Blue prints for all custom designed homes.
• Trucking charges.
• Crane and Crane operator.
• Reassembly charges.
• Reassembly of staircase and railings.        
• Emseal - expandable foam gasket - optional

Any changes to original plans will involve a change fee.
